Pre-Collection Launch: The first weekend in our Store

Pre-Collection Launch: The first weekend in our Store

On 25th and 26th of September, after months of rebuilding d'constructed from the ground up, we opened our doors at Talstrasse 58 and celebrated the new collection with the people who got us here.

Two days. Around 150 guests. A lot of drinks, a lot of coffee, and even more familiar faces.

We're still smiling.

Why we did it this way

We could have launched with a campaign, a countdown and a few polished images.

Instead, we wanted you in the room.

d'constructed started with a handful of people in Zurich who believed in the idea early on. So launching without them never really felt like an option.

One day in this city can take you through completely different worlds — work, coffee, dinner, a night out. We wanted to celebrate that with the people who actually live it, not just show it on a screen.

Friday

At 6 pm, the doors opened at Talstrasse 58.

It filled up quickly.

Friends, family, customers from the early days, familiar faces from the scene and plenty of people we were meeting for the first time. Around 120 of you came through over the course of the evening.

Blue Method played downstairs in the store, while Wero from Fourside took over the studio upstairs.

For many of you, it was the first time seeing the collection in person. Watching you try on the sets, swap jackets, open them up and re-layer them was one of our favourite parts of the night.

And somewhere between the music, drinks and clothes, there were conversations that simply don't happen online.

That was the point.

Saturday

Saturday felt different.

Noah and I were in the store all day. The pace was slower, more personal. You came in for a coffee, stayed longer than planned and took your time with the pieces.

We talked fabrics, fits, custom options and how you would actually wear the clothes.

Those conversations are exactly why we wanted a physical space in the first place.

What we took away

If we're honest, right before the weekend, we had our doubts.

Would people come? Would everything be ready? Would it all come together?

It did.

And more than anything, the weekend reminded us that d'constructed is bigger than the two of us.

It's the people who showed up. The person who brought a friend. The conversation that started over a drink. The questions, the ideas, the feedback and the people who have been following along from the beginning.

That's what made the weekend feel special.

Thank you

To everyone who came by on Friday or Saturday: thank you.

We're beyond happy — and still a little overwhelmed — by how many of you showed up. You made our first weekend feel like a home game.

A big thank you to Alferano, our brand partner, and to our two DJs: Blue Method in the store and Wero from Fourside upstairs in the studio. You made the night what it was.

With so many people in the room, we didn't get to talk to everyone. We're sorry if we missed you.

So come back.

For a coffee. For a quick chat. To try something on. Or just because you're passing by.

We'd love to see you again.

Every visit means a lot to us.
